Sandy Christensen has been with The Spencer Company for 6 ½ years. Born in Alton, Illinois with 1 older brother, Sandy graduated from Alton High School in 1979.
In 1983 Sandy received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Illinois Chanpaign-Urbana campus. She obtained an Interior Design License and Architect’s License in Illinois. Sandy worked for the Real Estate and Construction Division Headquarters of IBM in New York in 1984 and later transferred to the Midwest regional office in Chicago a year later.
With one additional job change, Sandy relocated to Texas in 1993 starting as a draftsman and progressing to VP of Interior Design and Space Planning. In 1994 - 1999 Sandy became the Senior Designer for Heep and Leonard and FMG, Director of Design Dept. and productively progressed to VP of Design and Sales Support.
In 1999 The Spencer Company gained a new strength. Sandy became the Account Manager for Alcatel Network Systems and her momentum propelled her throughout the years. She managed the Platinum Team, Healthcare Specialist, Modular Millwork Specialist and is currently the Director of the Design Department.
Sandy is a mother of two wonderful children, 1 son and 1 daughter. Sandy still manages to extend her abilities to serve as a coach for girls fast pitch softball. She takes individual time for water skiing and scuba diving and is an avid camper.
