The Spencer Company Announces Sandy Christensen, LEED AP

The Spencer Company is proud to announce that Sandy Christensen has earned her Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) Certification.

Through her architectural expertise, Sandy has almost 20 years of industry experience and has been with Spencer since 1999.  Sandy received her BS of Architecture at the University of Illinois where she practiced architecture until she moved to Texas in the early 90’s.  She focused her architectural knowledge into the furniture dealership arena and has handled major projects since that transition.  During the course of her career at Spencer, Sandy has created integrated interiors solutions with numerous clients and end users as well as real estate professionals, other designers and architects throughout the United States. 

Sandy was instrumental in the complete design and coordination of over 500,000 sq. ft of

Hunt Oil Corporate Heaquarters utilizing Haworth demountable walls and custom furniture. 

She has also handled Alcatel, AmerisourceBergen Speciality Group, Baylor Plano Medical Center, St. Marks Academy, LeLycee Francais, as well as many other Haworth organic workspace project.  

When not working Sandy spends her time with her children Zachary (21) who is a senior at Texas A&M, Mac (18) who is a freshman at Houston Baptist University, walking her dog Sampson, and coaching the JV and Varsity softball teams for Colleyville Heritage High School fall program. Sandy is also a member of the Mary Corbin chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
